Three Terrorists, two who were suspects in the Charlie Hebdo shooting, were killed by French authorities on Friday, January 9.  Shots were fired just before 5 PM where the standoff occurred. Three large explosions took place among the gunfire. The two armed terrorists called the police and said they wanted to die as martyrs.

Hayat Boumeddiene, another terrorist wanted in the killing of a policewoman, escaped the grocery store hostage situation among the confusion. She is still at large and is extremely dangerous. She is believed to be armed.

Schools in the area were placed on lockdown.

A video has recently been released showing footage of the two gunmen shooting at the police.
