The Wrangler: How long have you had a job?
Wenglar: I’ve been working a little over a month at a restaurant in town center.
The Wrangler: Would you recommend other students to get a part time job like you?
Wenglar: Yes, it is extremely beneficial if someone wants to make some extra money or put it on their college application.
The Wrangler: What’s the best part about having a job?
Wenglar: The best part about having a job is being able to earn your own money to spend instead of asking your parents for some.
The Wrangler: How is it balancing a job with school and senior year?
Wenglar: It can be stressful sometimes, especially if you work during the weekdays, but it’s definitely worth it.
The Wrangler: Is it difficult having to please so many people in a restaurant?
Wenglar: When customers complain, it can be really irritating, but if there’s really a problem your manager will help you so it’s not that bad.
The Wrangler: How is it dealing with the craziness of a restaurant?
Wenglar: On weekends, it can be a lot to handle but as long as you know what you’re doing it isn’t that hard.
The Wrangler: How do you like working with your coworkers?
Wenglar: Everyone is really nice and easy to get along with. It is a great way to make friends.
