The 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show took place in London, England on December 8th. The fashion show included many models, or “Angels”, who showed off Victoria’s Secret’s new lines. Musical guests included Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and Hozier. Each artist performed his/her hit songs while the Angels strutted their stuff.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion shows started in 1995. The earlier shows are not the big production they are today. There were no musical performances or  fancy lights. Tickets to the show were auctioned off  for up  to $25,000 for one seat at this year’s VS fashion show. The VS fashion show raised about $2.5 million for charity. These charities included the American Cancer Society, Pelotonia, and Gabriel’s Angels. Superstars Cara Delevinge and Kendall Jenner were supposed to walk the runway at the VS fashion show, but chose to model for Chanel whose show was on the same night. Kendall Jenner would have made her debut as a VS angel had she attended.

Star VS Angels who walked on the runway include Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Behati Prinsloo, Lindsay Ellingson, Doutzen Kroes, Lily Aldridge and Martha Hunt. Standout performances by Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande left the crowd speechless. During Ariana Grande’s performance, she was hit by a model’s “Wings”.
