Longhorns Knock Knights Out Of Playoffs
November 15th, 2014 – Round 1 of playoffs was the stage for one of the games of week in the entire state; George Ranch against Fort Bend Elkins. A slow, defensive stalemate lasted the entirety of the first half, heading to the locker room tied at 7. The offense exploded in the second half, racking up a monster 476 yards. Timon Nolan, Xavian Marks, and Darius Anderson all rushed for over 100 yards in the game; Nolan had three touchdowns while Marks ended with two. The defense was led by Arian Torres, 15 tackles, and Kingsley Keke, 3 sacks and four other tackles; these two and the rest held stand-out quarterback Jonathan Giles and the Knights offense to only 20 points.
