Horns Finish Season Strong
November 6th, 2014 – The Longhorns Varsity Football capped off a successful season with a victory and homecoming in the same night. The offense was led by Timon Nolan, who had two rushing and two passing touchdowns, and Xavian Marks and Joshua Scruggs, who led the running game for the Longhorns. The defense held the Sandcrabs from Calhoun to 28 points and were stingy in the trenches. George Ranch also crowned their homecoming king, James Frank, and queen, Chaya Oliver, during the halftime festivities. The Longhorns finished the season 9-1 and were crowned district champions for the second year in a row. They take on Fort Bend Elkins in Round 1 of playoffs at TDECU Stadium.
