Longhorns Stomp On Lamar
Friday, October 31st, 2014 – Halloween and Friday night lights collided as George Ranch took on the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs. The defense stole the show this night, shutting out the Lamar offense. The offense was lead by Timon Nolan, Xavian Marks, and Darius Anderson. Sophomore Antonio Jackson went 3 for 3 for 40 yards in the air in his varsity debut and sophomores Jason Baldridge and Quinton Morris had strong showings in the game as well. The Longhorn team took care of business against a mediocre Mustang team, winning with a final score of 34-0.
