Howdie, Chloe Oesterreich!
Chloe Oesterrreich is a Junior at George Ranch. The Wrangler got the chance to sit down with her to talk about her classes and extracurricular activities.
The Wrangler: What are you involved in outside of school?
Oesterreich: Competitive dance, modeling, and a part time job
The Wrangler: Do you have a heavy class load?
Oesterreich: Yes, I’m in all PAP and AP classses, with the exception of PALS.
The Wrangler: How do you balance your studies and your extracurriculars?
Oesterreich: Sometimes, when I have a lot of homework, I resort to not sleeping, but most of the time I practice time management and keep an agenda.
The Wrangler: What do you like to do in your limited free time?
Oesterreich: I rarely have any free time but when I do, I spend time with friends and family.
The Wrangler: What goals do you have for your dancing and modeling this year?
Oesterreich: Become a better dancer, and take my modeling career to the next step and earn more jobs so I can save up for a Jeep.
The Wrangler: How did you get into dance and modeling?
Oesterreich: For dance, my mom made me because she didn’t want me doing cheerleading. For modeling, I just wanted to try it out because I heard good things about it from a friend and I ended up really loving it.
The Wrangler: How do you see these activities enhancing your college experience?
Oesterreich: If I end up going to college in California or New York, I could possibly join a larger agency to expand my modeling career. Colleges look for involvement, so I think being involved in dance and modeling will help show my time management skills, helping me get into a good school.
