JV Softball crushes Lamar
The JV Longhorn softball offense was too much for Lamar in 12-1 rout over the Mustangs. The game was decided quickly as the Longhorns exerted its power early with six runs in the first three innings. The Longhorns tacked on another five runs in the fourth. Mekol Badillo’s double got things going, bringing home Parker McCarley and Lauren Chubon. That was followed up by Kim’s single, bringing home Mekol. Kim Williams racked up three RBIs on three hits for the JV softball team. Lamar managed just one hit off of London Diller, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out 10 during her five innings of work.
