Howdy Longhorns! After a two-week break, the Longhorn Sports Report is back! We are excited to cover all the GRHS sports coming up this winter! 

These past two weeks Longhorn Men’s Basketball improved its record to 8-7 overall after rattling off two consecutive non-district wins. Unfortunately for the ‘Horns, they lost their first district game falling 41-24 to FB Travis High School on November 29. George Ranch will travel to FB Ridge Point High School on Tuesday, December 6, in hopes of beginning another win streak. 

Lady Longhorn Basketball bounced back from a tight 49-47 loss to Foster with a dominating 49-29 win over Channelview High School to improve their overall record to 10-6. George Ranch mixed in three district games during that stretch, winning two against FB Travis and FB Clements, and losing their lone district game so far to FB Austin. The Lady Longhorns host FB Ridge Point High School on Tuesday, December 6, in the George Ranch Competition Gym. 

George Ranch Men’s Soccer look to make it back to the playoffs after making it into the UIL “second season”  for the first time in the 2021/22 season.  The ‘Horns travel to meet Foster High School on Wednesday, December 7th, at the Foster Soccer Field.
