Howdy Longhorns! Welcome to the 10th rendition of the Longhorns Sports Report.  This week we have multiple sport’s seasons coming to a close and the final gameday of the 2022 Football Regular Season. 

Starting with football as usual:  Longhorn football wraps up a solid 2022 season with a home game against FB Elkins at 11 am, Saturday, November 5th, at Traylor Stadium.  George Ranch looks to solidify a third-place finish in 20-6A play with a win Saturday, or a FB Clements loss.  The Longhorns have already clinched a playoff spot and are battling for seeding entering the 2022 UIL State 6A Playoffs. 

The Lady Longhorn’s Volleyball season has come to an end. Cinco Ranch defeated George Ranch Tuesday night in the Bi-District playoffs by a score of  3-1.  This loss ended a magical season for the Lady Longhorns.  An overall great season for George Ranch Volleyball as they finished with a 30-14 record and a third-place finish in 20-6A play. Congrats on a great season Lady Longhorns! 

The GRHS Girls Cross Country team is headed to State!  The Lady Longhorns XC team has booked a spot in the 6A State Race for the first time in program history.  The race takes place at 11 am on Friday, November 4th,  in Round Rock, TX.   We wish good luck to our Lady Longhorn Runners on Friday.
