Lana Del Rey has one of the best voices around the globe, but is her music for everyone?

Lana Del Rey has never been one of the most popular artists but is still very well known. Her alternative style is not for everyone, but she’s still had many smash hits such as Summertime Sadness.

Blue Banisters is Lana Del Rey’s eighth studio album that was released on October 22, 2021. The album is just over an hour long and has 15 songs on it that empower her angelic voice. The album consists of many songs that talk about empowerment in our community. It uplifts women and is meant to show the real beauty of life. It portrays Lana’s aesthetic and her original sound that is so different from any other artist.

The album itself has many amazing songs, but a couple stands out are Text Book and  Wildflower Wildfire. Both of these songs were singles for the album that drew in the listener to want to listen to the whole album. Text Book is the first track on the album and speaks on changing history and wanting equality for everyone. The other stand out, Wildflower Wildfire, is arguably one of the best tracks on the album. It talks about living your life and just trying your best. It’s a very soothing and compelling song.

Despite this album being pretty good it still hasn’t had the most success. This album has been quite controversial because the album itself wasn’t very promoted by Lana’s record label, which some people are mad about. This still has not stopped it from getting out there despite the lack of promotion.  Even though it’s not doing as well as many of her other albums, it still has over a million streams on streaming services.

The album overall is very well done. It’s lyrically fantastic and sonically amazing, and if you’re a fan of Lana Del Rey, I definitely think that you need to listen to it. If you liked any of her music you definitely need to check out this one. Even if you like alternative or pop music you might like this album, and it’s definitely worth a try.
