The JV Maroon football team lost their first game of the season 16-8 against the Terry Rangers, Thursday night, October 3. Josh Scruggs scored the only touchdown of the game for the Longhorns. Running back Zach Loskie also scored a two point conversion from a pass by quarterback Blake Whichard. The Longhorns will play their next game at home, October 10 against Angleton.
