The girl’s varsity cross country team competed at the Andy Wells invitation this past Saturday, Sept. 21. The Lady Longhorns ran a 4k and finished 8th out of 17 teams. There were 133 competitors. Senior Heather Haig finished 24th and was followed by freshman Grayson Thomas who placed 25th. Other runners were junior Elizabeth Thomas (47th), sophomore Sydney Heikkila (68th), and senior Mariana Castaneda (89th).
