The Longhorn JV volleyball team finished third in the LCISD JV tournament on Friday, September 14.  In the first match, the Longhorns eased past Spring Woods with scores of 25-14 and 25-10.  In the second, they went head to head with the Clements Rangers and came up victorious with scores of 26-24 and 25-17. In round 3, the Longhorns fell 13-25 and 15-25 to a tough Travis squad. However, in their final match of the day, they bounced back from the loss and defeated the Foster Falcons with scores of 25-16 and 25-14.

Meanwhile, the freshmen Lady Longhorns finished fifth in the LCISD freshman tournament, defeating Spring Woods 25-9 and 25-10, but falling to Clements 17-25, 25-19 and 10-15. But the Lady Longhorns fought back and defeated Travis 25-23 and 25-17 and Foster 25-18 and 25-12.
