Day 1: Travis and Courtney

Our first couple we’ve talked to about love is: Courtney and Travis. They’ve been together for a year and 3 months, and are as happy as ever. Both Travis and Courtney are seniors at George Ranch.

Q: What is love to you? 

Travis: “Love is about caring about another person. To love them endlessly, and to do anything for them that they need.”

Courtney: “Caring for someone so heavily…but understanding them on a different level and loving them even though they’re not perfect, cause no one’s perfect.”

Q: When did you first realize you loved your significant other? 

Travis: “I remember telling her the first time I loved her. It was the day before Valentine’s Day, and we had been dating for a couple months at this point. We were watching Glee and I had my head on her stomach, and I was just like ‘I love you.'”

Courtney: “And I told him I loved him on Valentine’s Day.”

Q: What is your favorite memory together? 

Travis: “Well one of my favorites was before we were even dating, so we went to homecoming together and it was a good time. Me and Courtney danced together for the first time. I was expecting a kiss, but I didn’t get it that night, but I eventually did get the kiss, which was great.”

Courtney: “We went to the shores and it was night time, so we were just laying on the dock right there, talking about stuff and the future of our relationship, like ‘i wonder how long we’re gonna be together’ and now we’re here.”

Q: What’s your favorite thing about your partner? 

Travis: I like that she’s just a really sweet person and really caring. Always just trying to do the right thing, and she is very thoughtful about everything she does.

Courtney: I like that he talks to me a lot. Cause like you know how some people are quiet or don’t talk that much well Travis never stops talking and I love it. He also makes me smile all the time.”
