jThe Wrangler: Who or what inspired you to play Basketball and why?

Gipson: I just always had this love for Basketball, like just watching such great athletes perform at a high level.

The Wrangler: Why do you like to play Basketball?

Gipson: I love to play Basketball because it is very fun once you get the hang of it, it keeps me in shape and it’s how I met most of my closest friends.

The Wrangler: How do you prepare for a game?

Gipson: I prepare by listening to music and get into that zone of feeling unstoppable and untouchable.

The Wrangler: Who is your favorite Basketball player and why?

Gipson: My favorite Basketball player is Allen Iverson because he is who I want to be when I play Basketball. He was such a great player, and his style of play is something that just wows me.

The Wrangler: What advice would you give to other people that would want to start playing this sport as a beginner?

Gipson: I would say to be patient, because it takes a bit to perfect your skills and be comfortable with everything involved in the sport.

The Wrangler: What are your strengths in playing Basketball?

Gipson: I would say my strengths are catching and shooting the ball and driving.

The Wrangler: What are your weaknesses in playing Basketball?

Gipson: I would say that my weaknesses are post defense and help defense.

The Wrangler: Does your dream job/career correlate to Basketball? If not, what do you want to be?

Gipson: I mean, my dream job is but isn’t Basketball. I’ve always wanted to play professionally, but I really want to become a pharmacist or a chiropractor.

The Wrangler: Are there any other sports that you’ve played?

Gipson: I’ve also played Football, Soccer, and I currently run Track.

The Wrangler: Are there any other hobbies that you do also? If so, what are they and why do you like it?

Gipson: I enjoy making music, playing the piano, and fishing. I enjoy making music because I have certain talents that I was born with. For example, I have perfect pitch, which allows me to hear exact pitches in all sounds. I enjoy playing the piano because it always relaxes me, and it feels great when you finally learn a song from start to finish. I lastly enjoy fishing because it allows me to work on my patience and it’s always fun catching a big fish.
