World of Tanks is an online multiplayer game that is set in the 1920’s to the 60’s. The game includes fast as well as slow tanks. As well as having a wide variety of vehicles the game includes a wide variety of action, game modes, and different strategies.

World of Tanks is an extremely versatile game, it has games on mobile devices as well as PS4, XBOX, and PC. The versatility comes with some drawbacks, such as some versions of the games have less content the others. On the mobile version of the game,  Artillery [A class of tank] is not present at all.

However on the PC, XBOX, and PS4 versions of the game all content is present due to the increased capacity for storage. This includes over one-hundred tanks and self-propelled guns. From heavy hitting heavily armored tanks to stealthy fast scouts the game offers a wide variety of gameplay From ten different tiers and up to five different tank classes, there are a lot of different vehicles and artillery pieces to unlock and play with.

The first major update other than adding new vehicles came out earlier this year and added a facelift unlike any seen in many other games of the same tier. The update simply called update 1.0 is a major rework of almost the entire game. The update added in one new map and reworked nearly 29. The PC version of the game now runs on a new graphics engine called Core, which was a joint operation by Intel Corporation and Wargaming [World of Tanks developer].

Overall the game is an enjoyable experience, with many different modes such as Control or Encounter Battle. Eventually, the games developers will run out of tanks to put into the game. However, the game is an amazing experience with many things to come and many new pathways to go down.
