We lower our heads today as we learn that another mass shooting has occurred Wednesday night, September 12, in Bakersfield, California. A confrontation at a trucking business took place between a man, his wife, and a worker. The husband suddenly shot the worker, killing him before turning to his wife and fatally shooting her. The man killed three more people as he fled the scene before high jacking a car. An officer stopped him and before he could be taken into custody, the man shot himself. No one is sure what caused this man to commit this horrible crime, but local forces are questioning witnesses. This is just one of the many mass shootings happening in this country nowadays. Even though it wasn’t at a school this time, it is still a major crime that will surely haunt the poor souls who had to witness this tragedy.
