Just 2 years after their National Championship win against North Carolina, Villanova is on top once again. After being picked as the 6.5 point favorite to win the NCAA Tournament, Villanova absolutely dominated Michigan, winning with a score of 79-62. As a result, the game itself wasn’t all that exciting, however, that didn’t stop Villanova star Donte DiVincenzo from scoring a staggering 31 points to secure the championship. Not only that, but DiVincenzo was also named the Final Four’s Most Outstanding Player. Although the championship game was a blowout, this year’s MarchMadness most definitely lived up to the hype. With that being said, Villnaova opens as second in favorites to win the 2019 NCAA Tournament, only behind Duke.
