Death – something so far, yet so close. Dying is not something you can choose when and how, but everyone knows that already. The problem is that people wonder. People wonder when they’ll die or how, or at least, I wonder. I also wonder what happens when a person dies. People base their answers on religion or beliefs, but at the end of the day, is all that just comfort for oblivion?

Some people make decisions based on if they’re a good person and will end up in heaven or a bad person who will end up in hell, but some make decisions based on what makes other people happy or themselves without thinking of after-death.

Then there are those who have died and resuscitated. They talk about their experiences, but not everyone believes them because “what a nut-job” some may say!

Monitormonkey is a guy who bled out during major surgery. He was dead for a few minutes until he came back.

The Mirror News reported that he said, “I remember thinking over my life, but it wasn’t like a montage. More like I was idly flipping through a book and snippets stood out here and there.”

Schneidah7 was announced “medically dead” when he crashed with his motorbike going 50 mph. He believes his brother is the reason he didn’t die.

Schneidah7 explains, “The only reason I didn’t fall asleep was because of a bizarre moment where I heard someone yelling, ‘Ranger up you candy f***! Come on man, get up. Get up. GET UP!’ Then someone was slapping my helmet (which was basically smushed really hard onto my head). When I opened my eyes I saw my brother squatting on the pavement next me to. This was odd because my brother died from an overdose several years ago.”

Do we see our loved ones when die, or do we see our life in a book? Are these people crazy and nothing happens- we just die, or is there an afterlife?
