Mattress Mack is Providing a Thanksgiving Meal to Houstonians in Need
Hurricane Harvey victims will get a free Thanksgiving meal at the North freeway Gallery Furniture.

People without homes. People without money. People without a Thanksgiving meal. Houston needs help from local communities.
After Hurricane Harvey, local businesses and companies are making their best abilities to provide families in need a Thanksgiving meal. One, in particular, is Gallery Furniture.
Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale, on Good Morning America, announced that his North Freeway location will be open For Thanksgiving to serve free meals from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
According to ABC, “We hope to have as many as 2.500 to 3,500, maybe we’ll have 5,000…..the more, the merrier,” McIngvale said.
While Mattress Mack is supplying the food, he is looking for help. If you’re interested in volunteering, you can sign up on Gallery Furnitures’s website.
This will be a feast including 5,000 pounds of turkey and ham as well as 625 pounds of sweet potatoes and 900 pies will great guests when they arrive at the store.
According to KHOU, “This is a chance for the entire community to come together and give thanks for all the blessings we have,” McIngvale said.
This Thanksgiving meal will be on Thursday, November 23, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 6006 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77076.
