Late last night, enough of the election results came in to confirm that Donald Trump will be the next President of the United States. Trump won key victories in Florida and Ohio, extremely close battle ground states, as well as major upsets in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania that secured his presidency.

At this time, Trump has 279 electoral votes, nine more than needed, versus Clinton’s 228. The electors appointed by each state will send in their votes by December 19, and Congress will meet on January 6 to count them. Assuming all goes as it should, Mr.Trump will be inaugurated on January 20.  Until then he is the President-Elect.
