Even though summer isn’t for two months, planning ahead may help you plan a great summer with your friends or family.  Let’s  see what is going on around Texas.
Let’s start out in Houston where there are going to be festivals. If music is your thing the  Summer Free Press Festival is the place to be. The Lineup includes Deadmau5, The National, Logic, Mac Miller, Asap Ferg and many more. It runs June 4 and  June 5. Two day passes range from $157.50 which is the best deal, with the one day pass at $92.50. If you are feeling more exclusive you can also buy the Fancy Pack for $192.50.  There will be plenty of delicious food  and great memories to create here.
If that’s not really your  thing and adventures  are more your style, a little father away from Houston is Zip Lining. Zip Lining  is located in Leander where you can be part of a  zip line tour around Lake Travis. It’s a three hour adventure and cost $109 per person. This trip takes you above 250 feet to 2800 feet . Make sure you reserve your  spot before it fills up.
Another place to go is the Drive in movie theater in San Marcos called Stars and Strips. It’s a great place to go with your family and enjoy your time as though you were back in the 50’s. The tickets are $8  per person. You can park your car in front of the big movie screen and go over to their café and buy yourself popcorn and tune into the radio station and enjoy the movie.

New Braunfels Downtown is such a beautiful place to have a nice coffee in the morning in the 2 Tart Bakery. After an awesome morning there and you start getting hungry, the Blue Moose is an Italian restaurant that serves great pizza for such a cheap price. If Antiques are your thing you can go and take a look at the Antique mall with lots of treasures from the past! Don’t forget the best part, the water park Schlitterbahn where you can just hang out with your friends or family too!

Van Warped Tour   If rock music is your thing awesome bands such as, Knuck Puck, Mayday Parade, Yellow Card, State Champs, Sleeping with Sirens. Real  Friends and many more will be performing!  You will find lots of people enjoying the concert! The tickets are  $50 and it starts on June 26.
