David Bowie, known for his song-writing, died at 69 years old on January 10, 2016 due to cancer. Bowie was also an actor in the film Labyrinth, an accomplished musician, a forward thinker in the late 1990s and the writer of the song “Changes” featured in Shrek II. Bowie was truly an artist, a Jack-of-all-Trades.

Alan Rickman, known for his portrayal of Professor Snape in the Harry Potter series, died on January 14, 2016 at the age of 69 due to cancer. Rickman is also known for the films Die Hard, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and Love Actually.
